The Project - Our Kids Our Nation

OUR KIDS OUR NATION is an exquisite coffee table book that features our Australian children. It is a unique fund-raising project for Muscular Dystrophy Australia.

Children from newborn to 15 years old will be professionally photographed by an accredited photographer. One of the images taken of your child will be guaranteed to appear in OUR KIDS OUR NATION.

There is no cost for the photography. All that is required is a $50.00 donation for the first child or $75.00 for all children from the same family, to Muscular Dystrophy Australia when you register.

The Process:

  • Book online or by faxing or posting the entry form.
    Download the entry form.
  • 1. Your information is provided to one of our accredited photographers. You will be contacted to organise a pre-portrait consultation to help you design your special portrait at an agreed time.

  • 2. Your child will be photographed, you may be able to have a family portrait done at the same time, discuss this with your photographer during your pre portrait consultation.
  •  
  • 3. You will also have the opportunity to purchase photographs from your sitting.
  •  
  • 4. A selection of 3 individual images of your child/children will be submitted for inclusion in the book, one will be selected by the committee. It will be published with your child's first name (as entered in the registration form) and the name of the studio.

  • 5. The cut-off date for the photography of 2013 book is 1st Aug, 2012.
  •  
  • 6. All sessions from September 2011 until August 2012 will go into the 2013 book which will be scheduled for delivery for Christmas, 2012.

  • 7. The book will be published and available prior to Christmas, 2012.
  •  
  • 8. You may order your copies of the book from your photographer. Recommended retail price of the book is only $154. As this book is a limited edition and will not be available once all copies have been distributed, to secure your personal copies please be sure to purchase them from your photographer.
