How soon after I register will my allocated photographer contact me?

Once you register, your information is forwarded to one of our accredited Our Kids Our Nation photographers. They will normally contact you within 4-6 weeks to discuss your portrait sitting.

Can I choose my own photographer?

Certainly, we have a list of our accredited photographers available on this site, you need to enter their 'Promo Number' in the appropriate field on the registration form. You will then be automatically assigned to that photographer, however the photographers allocated to you usually are based within a 20km radius of your postcode and are those that have the facilities to have your child's portraits taken and included in this beautiful book in time for the August 1st deadline.

How do I pay the donation to Muscular Dystrophy Australia?

At the time of registration you will fill in your credit card information into our secure payment portal. If you do not have a credit card you may pay by alternate methods by obtaining a printed registration form (Download the entry form) and posting the completed form with your cheque or money order. Your donation will be directly transferred to Muscular Dystrophy Australia.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Absolutely. You will receive a Tax Invoice from us for your donation via email shortly after your successful registration.

Can I choose which photograph is included on the book?

Your photographer will submit 3 individual images of each child for inclusion in the publication, our committee will then select the final image of each child to be published. You may wish to discuss the selection with your photographer at your viewing.

I am having all of my children photographed, can I have the group shot published?

No, the publication is dedicated to individual shots of each child involved in the Our Kids Our Nation project.

When can I buy the book?

You can pre-purchase the book from your photographer at the time of viewing your images. The book will be available for delivery prior to Christmas.

Can I have my whole family photographed at the same time as my child?

Please discuss this with your photographer when they contact you. There should be no extra charge for this, other than if you decide to purchase some photographs at the time of viewing.

Is there any chance my child will miss out on being in the book?

All children registered and photographed for the Our Kids Our Nation project before the deadline of August 1st 2012 will be published in the upcoming publication. However if for some unforeseen circumstance your child's image misses the submission deadline your child will be included in next years publication.
